Terms of Service — Ledgerline

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ledgerline ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Ledgerline is a personal finance tracking application that connects to your bank accounts via Plaid, categorizes transactions, and provides monthly financial reports. The Service requires a paid subscription.

3. Subscription and Billing

The Service costs $3 per month after a 30-day trial, billed monthly. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Payments are processed securely through Clerk.

4. Bank Account Access

To use the Service, you must connect at least one bank account via Plaid. By connecting your accounts, you authorize Plaid to access your financial data on your behalf. Plaid's use of your data is governed by the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.

5. Data Privacy

Your financial data is stored securely and is only accessible to you. We do not sell or share your personal financial information with third parties except as required to provide the Service (e.g., Plaid for bank connections, Clerk for authentication and billing). 6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your account credentials
Ensuring the accuracy of any manual categorizations you make
Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

7. Limitation of Liability

Ledgerline is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information provided by the Service. The Service is not a substitute for professional financial advice.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your access to the Service will be revoked and your data may be deleted.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
